Antifungal assay of some angiospermic plant extracts against Fusarium lycopersici

ABSTRACT
The aqueous extract of 21 samples taken from different angiospermic plant species were screened for their antifungal activity against Fusarium lycopersici, the cause of wilt of tomato. Among these, leaf extract of Blumea lacera belonging to the family Asteraceae was found most active against test fungus.
