ABSTRACT
The human body is made up of many organs, and each organs of the body is made up of specialized cells. Ionizing radiation can potentially affect the normal operation of these cells. Radiation effect on different cell system have different sensitivities Lymphocyte cells are the most sensitive but reproductive and gastrointestinal cells are not regenerating as quickely and less sensitive. The nerve and muscle cells are the slowest to regenerate and are the least sensitive cells. The radio active material are increasing our risk of developing cancer and genetic disease.
