ABSTRACT
Embelin, a naturally occurring benzoquinone, exhibits strong antioxidant activity but is limited by poor solubility and stability. To overcome these challenges, embelin-conjugated zinc oxide nanoparticles (Emb-ZnO NPs) were synthesized and evaluated for antioxidant potential. Three in vitro assays DPPH radical scavenging, ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), and metal chelating activity were employed to assess their efficacy.
