ABSTRACT
Ayurveda not only focuses on disease management but also on prevention and continued wellness. In Agadatantra there are some special concepts of Ayurveda like Dooshivisha, Gara Visha,Viruddha Ahar etc. Agadatantra has its own drug formulation called “Agadas” which are used in different kind of poisoning conditions and it also describes the various causes of lifestyle disorders due to urbanization and industrialization. In the human body, Doshas regulate both physiological and psychological functions, and an imbalance in this Doshas is believed to play a key role in the development of toxins and diseases, including cancer. Personalized treatments aimed at establishing the Dosha balance through dietary and lifestyle adaptations, herbal therapies, and detoxification procedures are the main focus of Ayurvedic concepts.Cancer is a slow progressive disease which could be correlated to Dooshivisha (slow/mild poison) because its poor potency does not kill people quickly and remain in the body for many years covered by kapha and Cancer is a group of disease involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body
