ABSTRACT
Ensuring the sterility of dental impressions is crucial for preventing cross-contamination in clinical settings. However, sterilisation and disinfection methods may alter the mechanical properties of impression materials, potentially affecting their accuracy. This study aims to compare the effects of Foster plus class B autoclave and Bacillol disinfectant spray on the mechanical properties of polyvinyl siloxane (PVS) impression material.
