ABSTRACT
Acne vulgaris (Mukhadushika) is a common dermatological disorder affecting young adults and is primarily associated with the vitiation of Kapha, Pitta, and Rakta doshas. The condition manifests as pustules, papules, come-dones, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, often causing both physical and psychological discomfort. Conventional therapies may provide temporary relief but are often associated with relapse or adverse effects, making Ayurvedic management a promising alternative.
